Liberty 2016 daytime running lamps

Hi,

Has anyone been able to get daytime lamps on for MY16 Liberty? It does bring on headlights on automatically with dusk, but not daytime lamps with daylight.

I would’ve thought the daytime running lights would come on with the ignition when the headlights are off.

I’m not much help beyond that.
