They're a great car.
Personally, I prefer the manual in these cars. But whatever rocks your socks.
If I can justify and afford it, I am thinking of an early GT Forester as our second car - maybe with lift and some other goodies - so impressed I am with our new XT!

nice lookn ride mate.. it would be worth the extra $$ for a 5sp tho
i test drove one at ozzy park year ago and it was very tempting

guys i have 1 well my father inlaw has 1 for sale 15,000$ its urs im in Tassie.....white,auto, all features, brand new turbo,170,000km highway k"s 1 owner....1998.....

i think that price is abit steep!...
i was looking at a 03 forester(non turbo)
$19 999ish if i remember right...the problem is there are sooo many of them around!
did u happen to see the red GT lib there?? my old man was very interested in that car for a while!
