I love the quote saying that this flat 12 is "overweight" at 159 kg.

Great idea, obviously wasn’t really trilled for long enough and resulted in poor efforts and ruined further development / refining of the engine. When compared to the early H6 that was in the jap spec vortex and the new refined H6 power output and overall reliability it improved greatly.

I think they mean the car was over weight, not the engine. But maybe I'm wrong.
The car is described in the 1990/1 Autocourse as "Coloni- Revised C3B chassis powered by a flat-12 Motori Moderni-designed Subaru engine, with transverse gearbox from the same company. An over weight and extremely ungainly makeshift machine."
