Driving from Coffs Harbour to Caboolture, averaged 10.7 L/100KM running ULP from Caltex (it's what I have been running the 'Back on seeing as PULP was running to over $1.50 L)

Filled up on Shell ULP at Caboolture for the cruise (dumbarse, PULP is uber cheap in QLD) Did the cruise and filled up at Nundah Shell, this time spied the "V-Power" No idea what it is, but the nozzle fit the car so filled up - 12.89 L/100KM :P

Filled up at Halfway Creek (Between Coffs and Grafton) again with V-Power (Car is already running smoother and has more power.....) and WHOA 9.11 L/100KM - Not bad considering a large portion of this was spent sitting on 120km/h on the Pac MW!!!

This is by far the best economy I have had yet out of the Outback, and is reminiscient of the low 8's the Liberty would give me...

With a 10 cpl difference in price it is more economical so long as I get 0.7 L/100KM better economy - I think I'll stick with the good juice from now on!!

I can't quite grasp how a fuel can reduce engine friction but here is the relevant link:

I have had very mixed results with the Caltex Vortex, on long trips it doesnt go too bad for ecconomy wise but around town it is crap i use near double the amount i would than with Shell
