Back already.... I rode a DRZ400 (Race Cams, Flat-top piston, pipe, adjustable ignition, and all the usual gaurds, etc). It pulls like a frieght train, wheel stand with the throttle alone; awesome fun but to much open rodes now, half the time spent sitting on over 100km an hour. We did the Telegraph Track, Creb Track, etc. You could drive a 2wd car the hole way... in fact i saw motorhomes at Sesia (rougly 30km to the top)
Cheers

Thats a great bike for such a trip, I would love to have done this years ago, maybe one day. Did you ride in a tag a long tour, judging by the other bikes?

All just mates those tours cost about 3 times what i paid, we all chipped in to cover the cost of the cars, food, ferry, camping, etc. Cost us about $650 for two weeks. The tag along tours start at around $2500 for 8 days flat out the hole time and only one way usually. I am hopefully going again next year, so what do you ride?
