a friend of mine has just bought an EFI L-Series touring wagon. he got a lift kit with it the previous owner never got around to fitting it. the car has aircon and i was wondering if the aircon and all its piping will be a problem when it comes time to fit the kit? im not sure if its a 2inch kit or a 3 inch kit, any opinions are welcome. thanks all

L series AC units will have no problem in clearance with either 2 or 3 in lift kits. You will have to shorten the bottom radiator hose as well. Make sure you remove the earth strap from the gearbox prior to lifting and the cables for starter motor undo the screw holding the cables out of the way

when i bought my lifted L which had been done "professionally" the front fan was caught up in the metal shroud and was jamed, the previous owner hadn't realised........simply remove the shroud.
