Hi all

New member here. Driving an 03 Liberty RX wagon.

The car's great, but I've had it with dealer servicing.

Any recommendations for servicing in Sydney close to the CBD or eastern suburbs?

Apologies if this has been commented on before. I searched the forum but didn't come up with anything.

Cheers

I'm in Western Sydney but I've never had any of my cars serviced by anyone other than myself :)

hehe, thats the spirit Peejay, subes are so easy to work/service on aren't they?
but ages ago, did need some servicing in Alexandria (used to work there),
anyway this guy had all kinds of letters/qualifications on his business card - but I reckon didn't have a clue - timing belt skipped some. Go to someone who knows subarus, and they spot the problem allmost instantly.

anyway, I would suggest go to your dealers parts counter and ask the guys who they do most business with/recommendations.

Hey Warble,

I'm near the Blue Mountains in western Sydney and have an L series and also a 95 Liberty. I service them both but do take the liberty to the Genuine Service Centre every 50K or so, as Fredsub said they can find the few things that I miss out on/over look. I can easily repair broken or work components but its harder to diagnose issues that may arise. I have only had good things to say about the local Kingswood dealer, except the high cost... But needed a smash repairer for a quote when my wife ran up the back of another car, so asked the dealer and they recommended a place to take my car, can't remember the name but if it could help u i can look it up (PM me).

Smokey.
