they did a few retro looks like that. the PLEO had a similar look. something to do with heritaige. that is a factory car btw.

I think you can actually order this as a 'retro' package from Subaru in Japan. Allegedly Japanses go nuts over anything retro.

we got one here in dunedin, they have wheels that look like imitation super lites (toyota guys should know). bloody hidious cars...

alot of manufacturers went through this stage, of putting useless crap on (toyota carat starlet for example).

meh... some people like them...
