I've owned my Subi for a few weeks, now for the questions.....

Question time again. Firstly, my L series wagon seems to hold the revs on gear changes when I give it a good rev. Is the problem the flywheel weight and if it is, are lightened flywheels available? Secondly, the gears are a little notchy to shift. I put this down to an original clutch (car has 170,000) which is getting to the end of it's life (and adjustment). What is a good clutch for the car considering it will most likely be fitted with 27" tyres at some point in the future and also used to tow etc. The notchiness on gearchanges is making the car a bit tricky to drive and I would like to do all of the above work in the one hit. Are the standard clutches ok to use when offroading? Is that the most ridiculous question a newby could ask?
Has anyone made up spacers to change the stud pattern to 5 stud? I know that the Backyard Boys make them. I would like Forrester alloys, I'd love to see pics if anyone has some..
Thanks dudes....
