I know this has been rehashed over and over here but since the hackor I cant find much, so please bear with me. I might be buying leons old ute with a 3 inch lift and the ej driveline installed, i wont to swap it to my brumby.

Will an ej dr awd 5 spd fit under an unlitfed brumby, originaly 4spd dr?
Ifso will spacing the engine down an inch fix it?

I read about sway bar cleareance issues, any thoughts?

Also, do I have to make new shifter and/or dual range linkages?

Did sohc ej22s have siamesed exhuast ports too, just wondering?

With an awd box do all tyres need to be of similar diameter or just fronts and backs same, regarding old and new tyres?

Yes. You will need to make new gearbox mounts and brackets though.

No need.

Take the sway bar off or modify the exhaust headers.

You will probably have to modify them slightly.

The difference between old and new tyres is not worth worrying about as long as it is road tyres we are talking about. Offroad tyres having a much deeper tread when new can make quite a difference when compared to an old balding tyre. Where with roadies the tread depth is probably only 12-15mm when new compared to offroad tyre where it can be 20mm upwards.
