I fitted a pair of Mazda Familia GTR seats to a Leone coupe. 30mm space on inside rail and the rest bolt up original position. Very comfortable and cheap at the time.

I've got L series touring wagon seats in my wagon. However in the Hatch you'll want the swing-forward action of a coupe style seat, so the Familia GTR seats look like a good option.

Don't be tempted by the seemingly good cheap seats you find on Ebay - they can blow chunks.

Mazda seats will bolt onto the MY rails with very slight enlarging of the holes.

I got a set of 929 seats for $100 for the tourer, the drivers seat has posture and hieght adjustment, just the thing for a trip across Oz.

I tried Liberty seats in my ute. Althought they fit in there nicely, I didn't. As Brumberty has said, you will sit higher, in my case too high. I have got Vortex seats in there now.

Bretts got Vortex seats in his Brumby, they are a really good fit size wise and look good, you do have to stuff around with the mounting though, but considering they come from a 2 door they might be a good option for a hatch.

Vortexs are rather rare over here... not sure what they are like to get hold of other there but i might struggle to get some...

Brett have u got any pics of the Vortex seats in the brumby... or has anyone else jsut got some pics of some vortex seats. I assume these are a lot better than L series Touring seats.

I have Gemini seats fitted by the previous owner in the MY.
I know these may be long in the tooth by now, but they seem to be an easy fit and are still quite ok for their age.

Brett, have you still got the lib seats with whatever you did to adapt them into the brumby ?

How are the RX seats compared to the L series Touring seats??
Which would be better?
