Lifting a Gen2

My best mate has finally got himself a Gen2 4x4 wagon, and he's bringing it up from wollongong in september for me to trick up with lift, wheels etc.
I havn't lifted a Gen2 before, so I thought I would run the plan past you guys to make sure i havn't missed anything. Currently im thinking:
2" lift (are the kits identical to a Gen1 kit?)
Gen2 outback struts all round (pedders?)
Gen2 outback standard height king springs
Gen2 outback rear trailing arm mounts (same as in my car)
The only other issue i know of is that you have to swap sides on the rear suspension arms so that the swaybar links will reach (as you cant easily extend a swaybar link like in a Gen1)
Is there anything else Gen2 specific i should know about?
I havn't decided on a wheels/ tyres combo yet but they wont be big, im thinking probably 215/60R16 (26") or 27" tops. He doesnt want a bush basher just something with more than stock clearance.
