hi all, i am wondering, manifold vacuum decreases as rpm increases right, and that ported vacuum increases as rpm increases and i have been wondering for full vacuum advance would, it make a difference if the dizzy vacuum advance was ported?instead of using manifold vacuum? i think it would get full advance sooner?... please throw in your 2 cents worth.. has anyone ever done this...i will just atm i have a flat battery so i cant try...

anyway on the ea82 carbs 9hitachi) i think therre are 2 ported sorces... both on the front of the carb 2/3rds of the way up... 1 is for advance i think and 1 is for egr... any info cheers Ben

Wrong..vacuum is throttle related and can be high or low at any rpm.
no matter where you tap in to it..a vacuum or economy gauge will confirm this.
