Ruby Scoo on the road - ironing out the problems

Post by El_Freddo » Mon Jul 10, 2006 8:26 pm

Hey all,

I've finally got ruby scoo on the road... I had a camshaft 180 degrees out  she didn't run too well in that state... rather lumpy and no power.
Now she won't idle below 1400 revs, is still pushing out codes in a jibberish fashion, used to over heat at cruising speed - got a new oxy sensor, adjusted the throttle sensor, think i did something to the cat converter while 4wd'n after hitting a rock against it (ouch) ran like crap for two days, but it rev's easier now and doesn't get anywhere near as hot as it used to at cruising speed, but sounds a little tinny now.

Even with the few problems i'm still ironing out i love my subie...

Bennie
