Hey,
if you can put it in 5th, you could turn the CV's and count how many times the input shaft turns?
hoping it's a 3.7 hey...

Wouldn't you have to put it in 4th gear for that?
I thought 4th gear is usually the 1:1 ratio.... correct me if I'm wrong tho!

Turn the thing upside down , pull out the drain plug and you should be able to see the crown wheel, count the teeth , if there is 37 it is 3.7.

usually 4th is one to one, fifth being an overdrive, that's how the new cars get the good economy with the extra power, noticed we're getting 6 speed manuals in performance vehicles (such as holden) now?

anyways, hope this is right, its usually the case, otherwise i don't see any use in the fifth gear excpet that you have closer gears ranges in the lower gears...

According to the info I found on USMB (I never said it wasn't useful) your gear ratios are
1st-----2nd----3rd-----4th-----5th----Final
3.545--2.110--1.448--1.088--0.871--3.7

No garuntee on acuracy but hope it helps.
