Time for a change of owner and service??

Post by Nubaru » Tue Dec 12, 2017 7:22 am

Is it about time this great site had a new owner??

No offence to whoever set this concept up in the first place and kept it running, fronting up with whatever costs involved - someone has persevered with this task and responsibility for years

BUT, isn't it time for a more commercial interest such as Subaru Australia or a Subaru dealership or endorsed workshop offered to take over the reigns, fund it out of just one vehicle service a quarter or something?

This site gets heaps of international references on other forums and gone in a flash topical discussion thing called facebook

FROG seems to be the only commercal activity going on here, so maybe an off shoot of DOM'S Motors website, add some better anti spam, anti dickwit protection, greater ease of hosting photos - WTF is this cloud thing used for?

This will get about 10 views, one or two likes and get stuck in with the rest of the dust on this site eh?

Imagine an on line genuine parts ordering catalogue within where pricing of genuine components could be easily found so to compare with the often times dearer non genuine stuff available everywhere on line or instore.

Amazon - you wanna fund it?

Yep it's been tried before, trouble is the owner has lost his marbles & nobody can find them ... :/

I think it probably will wither & die sadly ... :(

This forum is very helpfull to me and would like to see if we can get more people on it.

Does anyone know who the owner is and see if they can get a direct responce to them?

Last thing I want to see if this forum die off.
