L Series radiator switches/sensors ??

I have found two switches on the RHS tank of radiator. the upper one looks to be two individual connectors so I guess this is the switch wire for each fan -- no , hang on - only air con fan is electric !!

then there is a switch/sensor screwed in just below ??

ideas ?

found them both diconnected too by previous fiddler

are these on all L series or just turbo and /or efi jobs

they are on all of them with A/C. that switch controls the cooling fan. it usually stuffs up and most people bypass it. (the one on my wagon was stuffed and the techs noted it on the repair sheet.
