Just intersested in a wrx over there, as im in wa and work full time would be difficult 4 me to get over there. Just asking coz if there is somewhere closeby, i'd like them to do a small favour for me: inspect the vehicle for me as if they were buying it for themselves and report back to me...
cheers. Jay

ive been in touch with the bloke and he's getting back to me in regards to freight over here and suggested getting an RACV inspection but he's okay with the idea of getting a third person to inspect the car for me.
How often/when etc are you in the area?
if anything eventuates, i will send you a pm.

awesome... ill be getting a RACQ as well. Who knows wrx's the best and what to look for when buying a second hand one? Ive talked to the bloke and he doesnt sound like he's thrashed it. He's the first owner, full service history etc, tyres are over 10 000kms old and still perfect etc etc. Whoever's the closest should be the most convenient, and if it can be done this wknd, that would be great too. If your free, let me know and ill PM you the guys address

If you do buy it dont bring it rail , the brake dust from the train will make it brown .I think you know what steel dust does to paint .
TNT road freight $660.00 was the last one I shipped from there to my door mate .

so you would suggest getting the car picked up from the house the car is at? i think its trucked to melbourne then put in a container and on a train... apparently they have no service for trucks all the way.

The wrx was the manager or owner of servo supplies (a coventrys type auto parts supplier). It was used, as far as I know from seeing it around town and being called on by them, for reping. Servo's has since been taken over by Bursons so I'd imagine it was only used for private purposes for the last year or so. Thats all I can remember/have time to write.
If you want me to look at it for you, best e-mail me
[email protected] as I don't get much time to come on here.
