Hey Guys,

Just after some advice. This weekend Im looking to buy a 2004 Forester 2.5ltr turbo Luxury model. The car is a one owner with full service history. The car has done 186,000 kays. Is there anything in particular that i need to check for given its high mileage? ie Turbo noise, smoke, leaks. Anyone have any experience as to the reliability of these cars and what sort of kays you can expect before failures/wear can be expected?

Dunno specifically for this model. Pezimm would be able to let you know more, but I think his is a 2007.

Just make sure the timing belt has been done - that'd be the biggest maintenance item I can see being an issue, although it's not really required for another 14k kms, which could be the reason why they're selling now.
