Sorry I've neglected the forum of late.
Not sure if this is the right area for this post, but cant find a members ride area of such.

For those who haven't seen her yet, I'd like to introduce the latest member of Scuderia Fisterbottom, a 1981 Fugly Brumby. She is factory EA81 and dual range 4WD, these were the interim drivetrain package available only in 1981. The Leone was redesigned in 1979 (for the 1980 model year), the Brumby continued to use the old bodywork for another couple of years. The Gen 2 Brumby was released in 1982.

I have a 1978 Brumby that needs a bit of work and another spare ex bush basher, but I just had to ad this to the collection.

Nice one Willy!

Straight to the pool room??

Original condition or restored?

Also, I didn't know the fuglies came with an EA81 from the factory - ever! Thought they were all EA71s

Cheers

Cheers Fellas. Bennie she has had a respray at some stage in her life.
I also didn't know that 1981 Brumby fuglies came with an EA81 and dual range from factory. She now has another 1981 Brumby sister to play with :-)
Canopy is ugly but it adds to the whole fugly charm I reckon.

There is something missing isn't there ??? Can see how a GEN2 has GEN1 roots. They just should have kept it up through the L and Liberty range., increasing dimensions and capacities as the generations continued and by now we'd have a Tribeca sized GEN5 or 6 Brumby. In my mind, I see the mid 90's Ford Festiva Trio body shape/proportions in the design cues of the BMW X6 . Shame we can't see similar a GEN1 in todays GEN Brumby !
