hi guyz. wanted to ask you guyz if you no any
thing about club reg. i have brought a fairlane

only want to use my subaru for camping and 4wding
so that brings me to the question about club reg.
if i get club reg. does that mean i can still have my

fairlane under concession. and have the subaru still reg
if its under club reg. i no i would have to join a club.
wich iv wanted to do any way. as would be nice to

talk to other Lseries enthusiasts and the like.
but what else is involved in club reg.
were do i go to get it. my subaru is in RWC. just has a few

oil leaks. thanks guyz for your help.

To be eligible, firstly your car has to be :

• Classic and Historic vehicles - manufactured after 31 December 1930, but more than 25 years before the date of the application for a club permit.

• Secondly you'll need to become a member of a club that is authorised by VicRoads.

So your 1990 model is not quite eligible yet ( 25 year rule ) You would need to find out the manufacture date ... :(

Doesn't stop you from finding the right club to join though ... :)

Cheers, Bantum ...

Not in Victoria. Don't need anything other than a log book, and you can choose the amount of km's you do each year (and pay accordingly). I see a lot of junk cars now with club plates (a KE70 Corolla, a 120Y, and various Kingswood's spring to mind), but given it's now over $600 for rego I can see the appeal (especially on a car that does less than 7000km a year).

king lake pheonix car club do the rego for $50 a year club member ship, $165 safety inspection + whatever your rego is. no need to go to meetings or cruises to maintain it.
