I have to replace a small curly engine hose on top of the engine block of my Brumby and it is situated behind where the radiator fan bracket is bolted to top of block. The hose looks like a quarter or 3/16" water hose and is quiet a curly hose. I am unable to buy one however does any one know if i can use a 1/4" or 3/16" fuel hose to replace this hot water hose. I have not removed it yet. It is not leaking but as I am replacing the Radiator fan bracket I thought it was to do this hose as well.. Any ideas out there.

Yes you can use the fuel hose you have or you can buy a metre of heater hose off the shelf that will do the same job.
You could contact
Frog as well to see if the can be got genuine still.

Not sure if it's the same part, but I replaced 2 small water hoses on my Brumby not long ago. One was a real curly one behind the alternator. I used fuel hose and it seemed ok but I wasn't happy with how tight the bends were and it was squashed up against something as well.
I ended up getting the genuine hoses from FROG and they weren't badly priced.

Yes looks like the same small hose. REAL curley and sits right behind the radiator fan bracket that is attached to engine block. I assume that small hose feeds some cooling water to the Carby. Really hard to get at. I will have to remove that engine fan bracket . Will see if i can get find small curley fuel hose or go to Frog as Toonga suggested.
