I've been looking into how Brumby dashes light up, and in particular - the clock.

Found there are at least two different clock makers - CITIZEN and JECO

The CITIZEN has a metal casing over the back of its PC board, JECO does not
The CITIZEN clock face is made up fully of an orangey tan coloured plastic, with what looks like the white numbers are painted upn, so too the matte or flat black background face. The JECO are sort of half orangey tan plastic, the rest opaquey white.

I have no idea what model the clock in my 84 is out of, but matches the rest of the gauges when lit in the dark - the white numbers turn a yummy orange

In the back of the gauge cluster there are clear bulbs and some in an orange shroud/housing/lens.

I am revisiting my 2" Speco electric oil pressure gauge in clock hole. The silver face and surround looks a lot yuck with the rest of gauges being black faced so an upgrade is coming up.

I know I have torn som gauge clusters apart recently that had orange sleeves over the small bulbs - likely L Series , question is - did I keep them somewhere ? I am goin to want to orange up the Speco gauge light somehow, just not gonna look as good as the factory glow.

Also up for trying to decide whether an OP gauge or boost gayge is best practical placed in the clock hole, with the other gauge being relegated to the fob pocket below sie window vent in dash above the fuse panel
