Fuji's minor variations...wonder why ??

Looking at my Brumbys outer door trim - the one at the top of the door, forms the weatherstrip seal with window. On the Brumbys they are affixed with a short Philips screw each end. The Brumbys are all black. I scored a door from same year '89 two door coupe. The outer weatherseal strip is held in place by same grippy clips along it inside, but no Philips screws on this one - plastic push in pins that break on removal.
Gotta wonder why two different fastener systems for essentially the same part between the models made same year ?? Tatty black are gonna go for some chrome ones
