G'day I'm having trouble finding a fan clutch for my subaru leone OHC 4wd ea82 engine. I would prefer a new one but only seem to be able to find a few in the US. Anyone got one or know where I can get one? My car is a 1992 but the engine is probably a 1990. It'd be good if the fan blade was included too as mine is damaged but usable. Does anyone have a second hand one that's still spinning nicely, mine is almost completely ceased. Thankyou;)

i binned one that was not seized - something else was amiss with it, in that it always roared and never quietened down. Stoopidly tossed the fan blade as well, realising I needed it too late.

So, be careful that you don't buy one that is not siezed but roars all the time - causes massive fuel slurping !!

A 12" Davies , Craig electric fan can be made fit in place of the water pump driven clutch fan - needs some wiring up etc, bit of fiddling to make it fit to the rad though.

Electric fan(s) give better cooling (if fitted properly) & better economy but yeah it is some fiddling to fit.

If you def want the clutch fan, try El Freddo, he loves his Ls & prob has heaps of parts stashed away lol or at least be able to point you in the right direction. Try PMing him.
