Everyone knows the L Series RX , some know of the GLTA the slushbox luxo version of the RX that came with EA82T 3 speed (then later AWD E4AT) switchable FWD/4WD, plush carpet, air suspension that could gain another 30mm ? below 80kph.
I've owned a second GLTA shell, seen another with turbo engine snaffled and replaced with a carby EA82 and seen a factory 4WD sedan carby and that is it.
According to ADR sheets
http://www.rms.nsw.gov.au/rvd-pre1999/d ... /11195.pdf
there was a GLA was single range 4WD auto only, PS and SR (sun
roof) as standard and the GLR 5 speed PS and optional sunroof with VIN differences, 4WD non turbo sedans!
Mention of optional mags or "Sunraysia" white spoke alloys
GLR was 30 kegs lighter
Anyone ever have one ?
