The "I wants" thread

G'day all.

This thread is about the subaru bits/vehicles you want that are up for sale but either can't afford or don't have the time to pick it up by the buyer's time frame or it's in another country...

Currently I'm the former.

Here's the unit I'm looking at - thinking as a future replacement for Ruby Scoo's running gear. Plus it's blue, plus it's a touring wagon - ticks a few boxes...

The link: http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/wantirna ... 1036765795

EDIT: The pic:

It's probably gone to the wreckers anyway.

Also, check out this guy - DREAMING! Although I'd love to have this for the brumby. Can't go past AWD once you've got it I reckon!

Cheers

Bennie

I know right!

That's what I thought. If I had some money to throw around at it I'd offer $500 and tell him to contact me when he's ready to sell at that price... I seriously can't see it going for $1500!

What, a 22B isn't enough?? Would it matter if it was in Vic, otherwise I'll keep my eye out ;)

Cheers

Wouldn't matter if it was in WA.. it's a want with no way of paying :(

The 22B is my dream car but I get worried every time I drive it.. can't afford another one if something happened to this one

Hmmm I'd like a new SJ diesel Forester. Don't see it happening for a fair few years though.

I'd also love more space. A nice huge, well setup workshopor shed and more than a 2 car carport! !!

Really?? Even with all the diesel issues you can read about on the DPF issues thread... and that apparently subaru have said it's not ideal as an urban vehicle?

I'm surprised.

I would love to have these wheels on this vortex,

[img][/IMG]

I found them from an importer website but they only have two for sale and to get them it costs around $600.00 (inc. postage).

I want a Brumby!

In good nick, for about 2k... Then, it will be a journey of 2in lift in, EJ20, AWD dual range manual box, all the camping mod cons.

One day...

Buy out the Toyota factory when it closes and approach Subaru to help build it in Australia

Fancy a trip to Australia's Capital?

Or are you looking for a targa?

Looks good! Not too keen on the bulbar, though.

I actually prefer a non-targa, you know, keep it simple.

Since the thread is called "I want", the Brumby can have the dual headlights and be either white or beige in colour...
