Subaru Brumby Special

Hi everyone, a quick question that I couldn't answer my self, or that Google, plus the forum search couldn't answer either.

My Subaru 1992 Subaru Brumby is a '4x4 Special'. I wanted to know what the 'special' actually means. My ute has aircon, if that has something to do with it (more extras?)

Any help would be appreciated.

Usually just a sticker they stick on it at the time :) there's a few different stickers alluding to some greater meaning but they're pretty much all the same but with varying levels of options. Just like in the wagons some of them have "Sports wagon" stickers, or "Enduro" on some later L series, just a sticker ;)

Yeah, think is a dealer, either new or used, adding a special touch. Try a Turbo badge and see if it goes any better :)

Years ago I use to have an SLX commodore which apparently stood for Sex Luxury Xpress!

Special model for a special person :)

Subaru have done this for years and continue to do this on cars today. It's just marketing ploys to sell more cars. Today they just put a wing on the back and call it special edition. Some of the special additions were side boards, rear bumper step, bulbar and the likes.

Post up some pics and we'll let you know if it's special or not :p
