Brumby Ignition Coil

Post by Gazza01 » Fri Jan 17, 2014 6:28 am

Can anyone tell me the correct ignition coil for a 91 Brumby. Everytime I look up Ignition coils for a Brumby its says fit with a External resistor, and I can't find a resistor anywhere under the bonnet of my Brumby. If there is one they obviously arn't the usual type .

My ea81 has a resistor that just sits on the top of the coil. But it is a points dizzy. Isn't a 91 brumby electronic ignition? Do they even have a resistor?

Electronic no resistor whilst points ignition does on the EA 81. When I converted mine from points to electronic I had to purchase a non resistor type. It's a Bosch GT40.
