I hope this is in the correct thread if not apologies to the moderators does anyone know a trimmer on the gold coast or Brisbane that could re trim my brumby seats and any idea of an approximate cost on having them re trimmed and a bit extra padding/support inserted into them
Thank You

Looks as good as any place to post it
Have you considered fitting sits from another model Subaru? I fitted a few sets over the years and found the early WRX (not the sporty race look ones) to fit in nicely and are super comfy. These sets are out of the 94/95 model, so you should be able to pick up a set fairly cheap. I'm sure there are many more that fit and if you do a search, you'll see other peoples conversions. I found the best seats to use were the non height adjusting seats, as these just required unbolting the rails and fit the Brumby rails (plus a piece of flat bar) but real simple to do.
IMO, this would be much cheaper than getting your old ones redone

Sorry to say but something seems to have priced auto upholsterers out of visits from me.
A mate has an expression "to buy a new horse coz it needs a new shoe" that explains what I did after getting a price for a new tarp made to fit - $350 . My used tarp and used tailgate came with the rest of the feral Australian horse

A new canvas to finsih off a project started in 2006!
Search n here for successful alternative seats from memory comes up with Suzuki Swift almost a bolt in !i

Will search seats thanks for that as do not want any problems if there is an inspection on the car from the transport dept as younger grandson will eventually be driving it and last thing I need is where is the mod plate for the seats but if late early wrx bolt straight in they will not know the difference thanks again will go search for seats

ADR requires seats to be fixed securely, so no matter how it's done, so as long as it's secure and done with a bit of pride and not just slapped together, then it is legal.
The WRX seats won't bolt "straight in" but bolting flat bar to them, then bolting the Brumby rails to the flat bar then you can bolt the seats back into the car. There is no issues with this with ADRs but I'd make sure you use at least 5mm (x50mm) flat bar.

Most Foz seats have height adjusters on the drivers side which can be painful when trying to fit into the Brumby. We have a seat of Foz seats (just cloth type) that we will fitting in to Jayson's Brumby, so we shall document the process.
