The next episode of Pat Callinans 4WD is on the Anne Beadell Hwy. Should be a good one to watch. Its one of the classic Aussie tracks, covering 1,340 km from Coober Pedy, South Australia to Laverton, Western Australia.

I enjoyed the QLD Scenic Rim episode which just aired. Thing is, these shows (All 4 Adventure included) need to show more off roading and ease up on the cooking aspects. Just my opinion that is.

Plus he had front and rear diff lockers. The fact that he nursed it didn't help matters

I'm almost in the same boat... I enjoy watching the places they get to but I detest their general "big 4wd attitude" that they probably don't even realise they're portraying. And the vids are one big advert...
My 5c!

I like him, he has a down to earth attitude & aims the show at your typical punter, not hardcore, heavily modded fourbie boofhead (eg, 4WDTV).
I find he's had lots of good advice (I love his slingshot winching) & certainly goes lots of great places. He's also a very good offroad driver. Eg, doing gunshot on TOTT without even pausing talking to the camera. He also doesnt do the boofhead thing of not getting up a track & trying the same thing over & over, ripping up the track. He often says if you dont make it 1st time, try something different like a different line or more momentum. Its also very impressive how well he's done with a trailer. The show 2 wks ago he got into trouble sliding
backwards down a very steep clay track with the trailer on but he got out of it ok.
That hill he tried last week looked a bit loose, very steep & uneven. I was surprised he didnt make it even with the lockers on but I dont think he was trying. Remember this is TV & not real lol.
Yarney, great effort to make it up

As I was watching this show I was thinking of you guys. Very lucky to have such a nice play area in your backyard.
rubisubi, yeah, I just fast forward through all the cooking & ElFreddo, I just fast forward through all the infomercial parts too

Some good info on Redarc gear though...
