98 Liberty GX

Hey guys, I have a 98 Liberty GX, it has had a fair bit done to the body and it looks awesome, but the stock peashooter makes it look and sound stupid. I was wondering what a good cheap exhaust could be, I got a quote on a catback for $600 but I'm only 17 and cannot afford that. My car has a nice note from inside the car but from the outside it is silent

Just replace the rear muffler with a 2.5" straight through rectangular muffler.
Should cost less than $200 fitted.
If you install a cannon you will be slapped.

the stock exhaust flows plenty well enough. As gannon said just replace the rear muffler with something a bit less restrictive. Any exhaust shop will be able to do this for you.

Will the 2.5" rear muffler give it alot more sound though, I want it to be noticeable but not as loud as a fart

Noticeable but not obnoxiously loud. If its too much noise for your liking go back to the exhaust shop and get a hot dog resonator installed in the mid section as well.
