Loving the new motor :)

Post by Mitchhsj » Sat Aug 24, 2013 8:34 pm

Just a update on the wagon. The ea82t is in and running well now with the inter cooler , bigger fuel system and some more boost... Untouchable up the beach.. It's amazing what a bit of fuel injection and a little turbo does :) my good mate and I are halfway doing the same thing to his brumby.. Should be up and running soon..

FMIC install looks tidy. The throttle body top is usually not a snug fit with standard imperial silcone bits ...what size did you use and hows it fit nice and tight ? Sneaky snip and good clamp? What boost pressure on the cool sode of the IC ?

Looks great, it must sound great when the turbo is boosting :)

Do you have any other plans for it?

Thanks guys, the throttle body is 2.25 inch and my piping is 2.5 so a good clamp its fine. It's running 9 pound happy as.. I have I
Only ever had the piping pop off once and that was up the beach right in the cutting, so I had so stop:( witch sucked because I love flying passed all the bogged 4x4s and blowing them all away.. And it popped off the turbo because its a joiner over a joiner but hasn't botched me since.. Yea it's a 3inch body lift with another 1.5 in springs so 4.5 all up... Spent the day on the brumby wiring soo close just haven't got spark yet hard blending 1.5 looms to make one efi one
