Hey Greg,

When a car is 20 years old, sale price depends on many issues; condition of vehicle, features compared to newer cars of similar price, loyalty to brand, cost and availability of spare parts and most of all, what someone is willing to pay for such a vehicle.

Luckily, Subaru have an enviable reputation for reliability, toughness and loyalty of enthusiast. Try selling on this forum, as many people who are after this type of car will look at forums such as this.

You say you want a change, as the reason for selling. Try an EA82T conversion, with 3" lift and 27's on 14" wheels. This will change the car dramatically and give you a unique vehicle capable of hard 4WDing, whilst returning respectable fuel economy and car like driving dynamics - what else could you want?

If you still want to sell it, I'd try starting around the $2500 - $3000 mark and see how you go.
