power steering brake down

hi all i looking for a power steering brake down diagram so i can reseal the one i going to put in my car after i get it rego this week it been off the road for some time got engine transplant and the power steering rack i got leaking ...

my can is a 93 L

Phil, have you tried the Lucas power steering leak fix stuff made in USA about 14 bucks at Super cheap, have used many times on some weird leaks like when it sits unused it nearly poured out. I think my L is half PS fluid half Lucas now

Being 93 would be the later pump - I only have for early pump.

Does your subie dealer still have the parts books to refer to ? Their parts are best and not so dear. And if you ask nicely may get a pic copy of diagram you need

, think I have one coming from the US ..... a kit, not the steering rack itself - unless it came with all the other bits to do a LHD conversion

Put a "cap" (not cup) full of brake fluid in the reservoir, this will make the seals swell and usually stops leaks for quite a while, drive the car for a while after/if you do it.

ya will try it all as the car the rack come out of was sitting for some years .. ya seals are leaking just wanted to replace all seals on the end of rack and input ..
Ya i can see the dealer hear as i know one of the guys well in spear parts will look into it ..

I second that - Ive done that in a few cars and it does help.
Normally its a cap of fluid from the bottle's lid, or same size cap as your engine oil cup - thats about enough for it, i've done two caps and doesn't hurt. As far I know it lasts for a while - as far I know a while as never did the seals on the power steering as it helped.
