Its difficult to read the translated japanese, but are these EJ20 pistons in an EA82 block?
I thought the gudgeon pin was a different size...

BUMP !!

Obviously of no interest to anyone else that can type !!

They don't look like any EA pistons I have seen, and you have probably found out by now that the trick is to have the little end bushings machined to suit EJ [20?] piston pin / gudgeon pin

Wonder if it was a find/discovery or someone blew up an EA as a result of EJ pistons inside

my head hurts from the translation bit by bit, but the author makes reference to of all things, Hitler, WWII, Pacific in explaining the origins of turbocharging.
Also looks like the result of using RS Lib ? pistons in an EA 82 turbo in order to raise the compression from 7.7 to 9.5 , words came through such as broken engine body, melted pistons :D all because it sounded like the author was not content with a measly 20% improveent over the base EA82
