Im not trying to hijack this thread, but yesterday my brother in law and myself acquired a 3 plug EA82T in perfect working order and we have no use for it. Would bolt straight into this RX and may help Adrian sell it complete

Its out of rego now but if someone else wanted to make it complete .
As I mentioned I still have its original engine and gearbox and I'm not asking much for them or the rolling shell . if the wreckers get it I get nothing for it - except my garrage back .
I'm just selling the desirable bits because thats where some returns are .

I really hope someone picks this shell up and does something with it. I reckon it's screaming for a WRX "sleeper" (80's style!) conversion.

All the best with it Adrian, I really hope it doesn't end up at the scrappers :(

Cheers

I still haven't got a reply from you. Can you plz let me know if you still have them and if you want to sell them.

Why the front grill Guyph? Isn't it just a standard L series grill but the early version?

Cheers

Sorry so long but I found the time to remove the RXs rear brakes and substitute with drums I found - keeps it a rolling shell .
Removed so far is rear LSD , rear disc brakes , twin core radiator , Spider manifold , most of exhaust , custom made larger anti roll bars , heads .

Just about to get the turbo + down pipe and header out so I can get ready to remove the engine and gearbox .
Sad to note four near new tyres on this thing .

None of the interior or dash is out and not wasting time on anything no one wants to buy .

Yes the shell will go with the free removers unless anyone wants to take it away for a very small token payment . It would include the original engine and box .

In the Sutherland Shire , cheers A .

Will get back to the PMs tonight , A .

I still have everything bar the rear disk brakes . I'll see if I can get those trims off - shouldn't be a problem . I'kk have a go removing the cluster over the weekend .

Engine and AWD L box still in chassis , clutch plate R160 LSD still here too .

Those rear door trims I think are both there but may not be so easy to get off if they were glued on .

I got the starter off and the bellhousing/engine mounting bolts/nuts loose and I may have lined up an engine lifter for tomorrow . With luck engine and maybe box out and thats all the heavy stuff removed .
I think Coxy may be donating some cheese cutter wheels and stuffed tyres so the wrecker doesn't get the H type alloys and near new tyres .

Open to offers for the wheels and tyres , cheers A .

Are you keen to try and remove them? Also how much for the cluster and the trims?
Thx

What would be the easiest way to send the swaybars and exhaust my way? The rear springs are also of interest to me as well

Bus freight or courier or I have family in Mona Vale, Terry Hills and Rouse Hill you could drop them at but I think these 3 destinations are a little far from where you live.

a fella was grumbling the other day black iron scrap only worth $50 a tonne, was up to $250 so scrap merchants now likely to charge for removal
