Picked up the new car today. All good !

I need to get some copies of the key (with transponder).

From Googling around Forester keys are quite a different thing to our KISS L series !

To date there is one supplier on eBay that charges $99 AUD plus I would need to send a key to him to work with.

Can anyone advise of their experience in this matter of High Tech keys ?

Must be someone out there with ideas for Transponder keys at a reasonable price. Or has Subaru done a good job of keeping the technology to itself.

What has people been charged when they have had to get a key done ?

Does the NRMA roadside assist cover transponder key loss or problems ?

FYI

I picked up a spare transponder key from Preddeys Locksmiths in Miranda (Sydney) it was $120 done on the spot. Not cheap, but way cheaper than Subaru quoted me.
