Inspired by Bennie here
showthread.php?t=22716
Start a list of L-Series must have accessories - either from the AU market or OS.
I'll start:
RX Turbo rear splats
RX Turbo wagon rear wing
Fog lights with the motorised covers
Leone foot rest
Rear cargo bay light
EA82 carby shield
And the evulisve cargo bay blind!

Forget accessories - how about just all the goodies?
XT6 rear end discs for easy 5 stud swap (it's cheap over there if you can find the parts!)
AWD L series gearbox - only because of the centre locking diff (can't wait to have mine in Ruby Scoo!)
I would seriously LOVE to have an original RXII coupe in the shed; there's a two wheel drive GT in NZ on trademe at the moment - but I'd probably sleeper that one WRX style

(but if I could ever afford to get one over from NZ I'd hang out for a late 80's RXII turbo coupe)
If you're into your road going L's - the front air dam and side/rear skirts.
We should get pics of these things going too for visual reference
Cheers

the good old 3 speed 4WD auto with the button in the dash when depressed activates 4WD when you hit the kick down switch, the brakes or the wipers - was a great thing when caught unawares in FWD when suddenly need for more motion and traction in the wet in the gLta

Guy on another forum i'm on brought a car over in it's own 20ft shipping container for 5kAUD. used a broker in australia. and i believe that car would be valued much more than what you want to bring over, it may even be cheaper.

So did your quads actually come from Japan or did they come from the USA?
Reason I ask is that if they came from a left hand drive country, the light pattern would be reverse of what its supposed to be, blinding oncoming traffic.
Front, side and rear ground effects kit would be super cool!

lol, this has been covered before, the light are Aus Landcruiser ones and are the right type. Only the metal bracket, plastic surrounds and corner light that where imported.

Nice score
The wing was OME Subaru - have only ever one in the flesh though.

Daang, will need to keep my eye open for this one! Was it made for the low-top wagons? The fit looks odd on the touring top.

But yours is a touring wagon!!!!
Oooh yeah. This one is on my wish list - but in RHD!
Ok, think I've made my point!
I too have one of those rear cargo blinds - but it's on Sheldon (the "new L series") and needs to have it's spring re-wound.
There was something I thought about today, but alas, I forgot what it is.

Yeah I remember the one - gun metal grey. I'm a bit particular (plus I didn't have any money back then - who am I kidding?? I don't have any money now either!!) and am after a late 80's or the "series 2" version - 4 plug ECU with the hotwire MAF sensor as I've got loads of spare parts and I quite like the black boardered dash buttons etc. Just one of those quirks I've got!
