Forrester 2002 Gt...pros cons?

Hey guys...
I have a l series with lift kit but my drive too work dosnt see me dashing through creeks or heading up muddy terrain so im looking for a smooth wagon with a bit of power..

Does anyone know if these have issues..2002 SUBARU FORESTER 79V MY02 GT AWD.....looks nice has about 200oook's for 9000....what should i look for etc..

Biggest thing to look for is service history. Its getting on to some fairly high KM's and if very well taken care of its whole life it isn't too much of an issue, however if not properly services with that many kms i would steer clear.

Yeh seems ok need 200,000 service...which i may get done buy the owner..the owner before her has failed too give her the log books...but yeh look great no knocks/leaks and goes like a rocket..thinking may take it too a suby dealer for inspection....flippers crossed...

just remember that being turbo that you have to run premium 95

Fuel economy on my parents 2000 turbo forester isn't great, but its a nice car.
Brumby 1992: EA81, 15" peugot steelies, 2" ********* body lift, tonneau cover, bullbar, GME UHF, ARB compressor, ********* rear diff protector, SOLD

ps 9k for 200,000 seems a bit high.

Hey yeh i agree...trying too talk her down...car is immaculate just the whole turbo thing and log books gets me a bit freaked as they cost a fortune to fix....will be do some negotiating wish me luck guys....;)

Personally I don't think that 200k km is high, but I would be looking at where the owner lives and what sort of driving they do on a daily basis - if primarily suburban I'd be cautious about purchasing this vehicle. If country car I'd not have an issue with a high km car.

My 5c anyway.
