Just a question, why does the Brumby not have the overflow tank for the radiator. I notice that it is for the sedans and wagons only. Also, my brumby only has the two speed wiper controls, can I upgrade it to an intermittent one?
Cheers guys

Unsure why, but gives you opportunity to install on along with correct cap. I have fitted L Series style in L Series locaton coz the jack was removed. Also used a GM VN or VL Commodore half of a pair of tanks, one side wiper bottle, other side radiator recovery, and sat it drivers side shelf, right up in back corner near compliance plate at the end of a very long piece of hose sourced from radiator place, held in place with silicone at first, now just rags jamb it in place

Thanks for that Steptoe, I assume I need a lighter radiator cap?

You'll need a radiator cap that allows fluid to return to the radiator during cool down. I don't know what the difference is in construction but you have to ask for a "returnable" radiator cap or something of the like.
As for the intermittent wipers - yes it can be done, as to how I'm not 100% sure as I've only tinkered with a system that's been done in a brumby - It's on my to do list of things to fix!

Same pressure just ensure it is one that has correct term for overflow / return system, think most of CPC caps are, they have a seal just below top as well as that at bottom.
Search intermittent wipers in search and you will find my hard way and easy way to do it. need a MY non Brumby as a donor if you believe those that say Brumby never came with int wipers. I got my donor bits from a late run Brumby with targa roof. two parts , plug and play - that easy

Yep, all you need is the 3 position switch and the plug in relay that goes under the dash in an unused plug...guess what I bought today?

I fitted a Hella intermittent switch (from Amazon, CHEAPER) very simple operation. Only cut one wire. Works great.

only cut one wire ? one wire of the original wiper circuit maybe, but you still had to find a power and earth for Hella jobbie ? The Brumby shop was asking about $70 for both bits. The Hella plus post from US may be near double ?

Where exactly can I find the details of the mod to the brumby? Sunnie came with intermittent/self returning wipers but they're on the blink at the moment - From what I remember looking at last time it was a butchered home job
If I can do this "simple" factory solution after reversing the butchered wiring then I will.

I'm not sure about the Brumby, but I know for my car that didn't have intermittent wipers, and hasn't been butchered there is a white plastic plug under the dash that's not connected to anything, and has a loop of yellow wire in it as a sort of jumper I'm guessing. All I have to do is replace that jumper with the intermittent relay (plug straight in) and replace the 2 position switch with the 3 position and it's done.
Hoping your home job still has this unused plug Bennie

Just did this mod. I grabbed the 3 way switch out of a wagon and the wiper relay. Plugs in exactly where you said. White plug with a jumper on it yellow wire. Unplug that plug in the relay and away you go. It took me about an hour to realize intermittent only works the car turned to on. High and low work on accessories but not intermittent. Only prob is the switch from the wagon has the rear wiper on it as well but at least it works.

Sedan switches are pretty tough to find these days, I don't see too many at wreckers yards anymore

Anyway, it is not hard to find the white plastic connector under dash near steering column with a connector in place using one yellow wire as a link from one pin to another, remove link and plug in aluminium flasher can look a like int wiper relay by Mitsuba and yer nearly done
