Send this member a message asking if they are willing to become a subscribed member or stop advertising.
I sent the admin at USMB an email saying pretty much the same thing.
Yes it is a subaru ad but if other members want to advertise, they must subscribe/ sponser the site so why can't this member.

you don't think it was just put up by a low post contributor for the sake of sharing the story ??
The engineer has forgotten some individuals get into the engineering mode and further enhance their cars drive by lowering its centre of gravity by choppin' springs

Saw both models at the royal Adelaide show.
Both the same really....
You don't want to be too much taller than about 6'2"
Your kids won't have any legroom unless your 80+ and lean over the steering wheel.
And that the Toyota version is a really tacky crap version of the Subaru.
Definitely worth the extra for the brz!
Cheers Cam

I seriously doubt these posts are from Subaru, they wont advertise the BRZ until they actually have some they cant get rid of, which could be years. I mean you still need to put a deposit down to test drive one!

I don't think there's any problem posting info about the car here. What we all refer to is that you joined not long ago and all info posted on the BRZ is from Subaru, so it just looks a bit weird.
You can make that all go away by telling us about the car you drive, what you have done to it and what are your plans... That's the sort of stuff that makes you "human" as opposed to a "robot"...
I have noticed an article on drive.com that might be of interest to you:
http://theage.drive.com.au/motor-news/e ... 27cbu.html
Let us know what you think!
Cheers,
Pedro.

Abit more info would be nice. Not just a title and link.

What? No link?? That's awesome
Sorry, I couldn't help myself - after all a quick google search finds that roughly the same posts have popped up on 3gWRX; RexNet and PerthWRX...
I'm keen to know more about what you have to do with subarus (if you have any) OR what it is that you would want to do with a BRZ if you had one - an actual conversation rather than just link dropping. It's not as if Subaru need to advertise these vehicles - the first lot sold quicker than hot cakes, ONLINE no less!! Insane.
That's where we're coming from... (speaking generally for the forum)
Cheers

I was serious re: FB
A better medium for one liners + links rather than posting in every subaru forum with, well, not a lot really.

On ausubaru.com:
- Subactive has made 6 posts, starting 5 threads with no public reply to any post here, except for this quoted post.
- All posts have been between Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm.
- All have linked to official Subaru promos/reports/'good news stories' except this quoted post.
Opinionated analysis:
- Punctuation (obvious).
- Subactive claims to "love the car and want to share it" yet apparently does not know where to post? But El Freddo's found Subactive's post on at least 3 other car-related sites.
- A quick google for the other post "BRZ official Subaru ad is available" will find several more sites it is on. But it seems to have been removed from a couple too.
- Subactive *has* replied on the ausrotary.com site, see
here and says (s)he's not employed by Subaru but...
- ...Subactive also seemingly mistakes the Toyota 86 for a Mazda in that same post.
- On at least one site, Subactive lists as Sydney, Australia.
- Head office for Subaru Aust is in Baulkham Hills (Norwest), Sydney, Australia.
I'm near Baulkham Hills this weekend (I've got Friday off too) for work and family reasons. Perhaps I could 'pop into' Head Office and ask a couple of questions. Besides, I can always query them about certain 'quality' elements of my Forester. And point out Subactive's less than perfect grammer (sic)- bad for the image!
I'm probably barking up the wrong telegraph pole but hey, we need to decide if we want this sort of spam-ish post here.
P.S. All right, Subactive's initial post on the
ausrotary thread was listed at 5:02pm

I'm just keen for more than just a link - a dialogue/discussion is much more preferred!
