Brand blanked out site wide all of a sudden? And general site questions:

Post by B00sting » Tue Jul 31, 2012 5:11 pm

So I did a review on a ********* lift kit. And now the thread title is entirely unhelpful. In addition, noone else but ********* makes lift kits for brumbies so it is helpful for people searching the net looking for information (like how I got onto the site).

Why not blank out all the rest of the brands in my signature? i.e arb. gme etc. Where do you draw the line???

I can understand swear words, but something that is helpful for forum users I cannot...

I remember not too long ago there was a message from a member say that Jeff from "censored" could not log in. I went to find the thread to put a link to it in here but it has been deleted.

I think this is one "the admin" may be dealing with, what it is all about I have no idea but I bear no ill will to any party involved.

Only mods with certain privvys. I'm only allowed to modify posts, delete threads and ban people.

I can't start new forums, change people's usernames or set advanced things like which words are censored etc.

It is an issue that I believe will be sorted out quite shortly. Emails were sent out to all site advertisers in June re: renewing advertising for this year. Some advertisers will not be returning - some will - others have not replied.

As for Jeff being not able to log in. This is an issue that I have only just been made aware of tonight by Brumbyrunner and am working on finding out why. He has not been banned or blocked.

If you are reading this Jeff, or some one is talking to him, there is nothing wrong with your account in the data base. It is still there, all in place and active. Perhaps try resetting your password and logging in. Or clear the cache on your computer and try logging in.

It is an unpleasant experience being banned for life by some glitch in the system - once had that experience meself, left me no access to the authorities :( , or the input level .

Same with engine gearbox and diff.
There are hardly any.
