As has been stated before, follow posting rules as posted by the owner of the site and all would be fine.

You did not follow the correct guidelines for selling, if you want to put it up in the for sale section do so but take a look at the sticky at the top of the page and use it so that your car can be sold correctly

it diddnt tell us what we were getting or anyhtign or even a contact number

all it takes it to read the rules...

So lets see id right this time.. and prehaps we will find a sale for you quickly

Cheers Justin

Here's the template you should use for posting in the "For Sale" section.

Pedantic or not, they are the rules. Follow them or your posts will be deleted with out question. It is as simple as that.

Hey Justin,

Does having your MY Wagon listed for sale in your signature block conform to the guidlines for selling?

there is probably nothing more annoying then reading a half arsed for sale advertisement, with half the information missing, sending a pm to find out more, only to have the seller reply about a week later.

i am strongly supporting the strict advertisement criteria that is set here. EVERY ADVERTISEMENT should already have such details on, and not such half arsed attempts at selling half arsed parts.

if you want to sell something on these forums, do it properly. else, reap the consequences of moderators and admin, and cop it on the chin if its edited/removed.

Gotta say I agree with Smoov and BYB-01. The For Sale format is good and there is a very good reason it is there. There is nothing more tedious than having to message a seller with a heap of questions when they could easily be answered by placing the information in the original post.

Sure it takes a bit more time to use the template - but I think in the long run its better for the buyer and seller.

Don't worry too much. You should get over it in about a week.
