Got some bird dropping for welds on my supercharger install. is this the most ideal stuff to cover up imperfections?

Never used it before, I always thought it was just normal epoxy but further investigation reveals it can be used to "weld" metal parts together? Interesting...If the parts are already welded well enough to do the job I can't see why covering it in this stuff could do any harm, unless vibrations cause it to crack.

Or you could just travel slower when you're welding ;)

re my little arc welder, 10 years old. many years ago the switch that allows you to choose 1.5 or 2.5 mm rods broke. so I fixed it at 2.5.

Now of course on thin metal (2.4mm) it easily blows holes therough it. So I have to go back over it.

It welds 4mm great for example. And I can pool the weld fine.

Hence the patchy result.

Yeh, think this is the stuff I want. Will look better.

thanks SB
