i have a whine when turning?

hi not sure if this is the right spot for this question but anyway. iv got a late 95 liberty and when turning there is a whine that comes from the front end. steering fluids are good and so are the cv (well thay should be). any sugestion would be great. it is perticualy loud when turning to the right.

Power steering pump/rack dieing, maybe get someone to turn the wheel at about 1500rpm while you have your head under the bonnet.....in neutral with the hand brake on of course.

More info please, is the car moving or stationary?

leeton1203.. does this noise happen when you are at full lock? if so this is normal (as long as it's not too loud) as this is just the fluid bypassing back to the reservoir.
