Engine Oils...what do you use ea82

Just wondering what Oil you fellas use in you ea82's? Im currently using RX super, only tappet noise when cold.....before the change it used to be constant.

I use shell helix plus. Semi synthetic. I think its a 20/50

I was on an racing synthetic however not just to $$$
ATM (approaching second service) on Magnatec 5-50W stuff (note EA82T).

I used to just use Castrol GTX-2 on my RX.
Interested to see what is recommended here for the EA82T, as I have just purchased wagon with the conversion. Want to look after it as best I can

I use Repco 20w50 SJ. It is cheap oil but I change it every 5000km.
I don't get any tappet noise.

Mobil 1 (EA82T)
- Though at the moment I have Coles $12 special. Used that when I put my $200 EA82T - thought it would be a dud. Turns out to be a ripper. Mobil 1 going in this weekend.
BTW - The first time I used Mobile 1 in my old engine the idle speed went up significantly (not a scientific test as I don't know what oil was in there beforehand)
