See what i stumbled upon when off in google.co.nz looking for Subaru Safari twin carb info
got no info, but a suggestion that these are good for air and road
$395 throttle body injection unit -
and it is not efi !
http://www.aeroconversions.com/products ... index.html
also found reference to someone porting EA81, twin carbs, and broke four windscreens on take off until a brace roll cage went into the tray - they wre suggesting twin carbs was a power up

looks very nice, i wonder how it would work in an automotive application with the barometric factors of not being a bajillion metre's up?
if it does work, and is that simple and can be tuned, then this has been a well kept secret!

They remind me of the old motorbike carbys but now just modernised version.

I just sent them an email about using it for an automotive application on something like the EA81. The way its price i'm sure it would be comparable to a new Weber setup. Unsure about running vacuum for the dizzy though?

They so there's no reason you couldn't use it on a car, but that you would need a fuel pressure regulator.
If i didn't already have a weber i'd give it a go, if it doesn't work out i'm sure there are lots of flyboys who would buy it.

I have an old mini and a twin set up of them on it would be awesome. If your gonna have a carb then a flat slide (they are very well known for use on racing engines) like is would be the way to go.
I am drooling now, wish i had a spare $1000 to buy 2 of them
