SVX's "window within a window"

Well, watching BTTFIII for about the tenth time i realise the GMC DeLorean also has same. I think it was also the 1986 Aston Martin Zagato-bodied Vantage that also got same. It was once described as "may not be the prettiest car in the world" - a comment not only reserved for our texes :) at the time.

Were there any other makers that dared do such a window in their range?

I am sure there is some early 2000s Toyota or Nissan coupe with them. Like a MR2 but a grey import.

Love seeing an SVX out and about, dragging its 2 tonne arse about with a insane drag co

Possibly the 1964? Ford GT40, can't be bothered checking but I think there was some sort of window that opened in the fixed glass.

Was trying to find the model, found this article from WP on the history of power windows.

The Toyota Sera perhaps? Lots of these came to Oz as grey imports.

The first car I ever remember seeing that had the split side windows was the 1974 LP400 designed by Mr. Marcello Gandini
