Post by ImprezaSRX » Mon Sep 19, 2011 9:50 pm

Hi All,

We are looking for a few examples of original, clean old Subaru's and thought that this would be a good place to try to locate some or all...

Subaru Touring wagon (83-84)

If you have one of these, or can point me in the direction of someone who has, please shoot me an email at

impreza.srx at hotmail dot com

Cheers
Sam

Yeah Sam, more info would be appreciated. Your efforts have spread far and wide - dealer internal emails, insurance companies been buzzing me.

May we see your Vortex please?

Ok.. I understand that this is a wierd request, and I am a little cagey with the details, but there is method behind my madness.. The Source of this request has asked me to try to locate some of these vehicles without making the reason public. I am happy to discuss the details with vehicle owners direct.. but not publish via web forum.

I will be allowing 3 of my family vehicles to be displayed (Vortex XT, Liberty RS & my GLF-A Coupe).

As for pictures of my Vortex I am happy to show it off, and also a couple of my little coupe:.. See below,

Hope you all understand.

I have an 82 touring wagon that is original except for the 2" lift kit, wheels are 13" sunrasia (have the original Subaru alloys though) and it is a manual instead of the original auto.
The paint is a bit ordinary but it is entitled to be at 29 years old.

Very nice pair of blue coupes you have there Mr. ImprezaSRX

Shame you are in Sydney or I could have a couple of cars for your shoot :( I'm sure you'll find some good examples over there. Best of luck and let us all know how it turns out.

Cheers,
Paul

I can't help with a vehicle to shoot as Ruby Scoo is as rough as guts and no where near original!

I've got a question for you regarding these rims:

Image

What are they and where did you get them from? They look great on the coupe!

Cheers

Thanks..
They are custom made 15 inch centres made somewhere in Canberra.
I picked them up off a guy who had them made for his RX turbo rally car for a very good deal..
I actually got 7 of them, and picked the best 4 for the coupe.
They probably need a re-powder coat, but for the time being they fit the bill.

I have 195/50/15's mounted to them in this picture.
